✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Reside in Whistler, Pemberton, or Mount Currie.
  • Work or volunteer for:
    • A registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), or
    • A non-profit registered with BC Societies.
  • Exhibit:
    • Community involvement.
    • Leadership qualities.
    • Consideration for others.
    • Outstanding personal qualities.
  • Preference will be given to applicants pursuing opportunities related to:
    • Community development.
    • Social work.
    • Psychology.
    • Business.
  • Wish to pursue a professional development opportunity, such as:
    • Post-secondary education.
    • Workshops.
    • Seminars.
    • Other educational opportunities.
  • Commit to using the skills and experiences gained to improve the quality of life in the Whistler, Pemberton, or Mount Currie areas.
  • Have lived and worked in the area for at least one year and plan to remain in or return to the area after completing the program.
