📖 About Anzisha Venture Building Fellowship
The Anzisha Venture Building Fellowship is a two-year program that has successfully supported and championed very young entrepreneurs for over 15 years. This fellowship celebrates and rewards business growth while tracking the performance of both the business and the entrepreneur.
Businesses that demonstrate exemplary growth and initiative are rewarded with benefits such as:

Eligible fellows can enjoy the following benefits:
- Bi-annual cash stipends throughout the fellowship.
- Short-term educational opportunities, internships, and specialized technical expert consultations in Year 2.
- Job Creation Prize – awarded to the entrepreneur in Year 2 who has created the most job opportunities since joining the fellowship.
- Revenue Growth Prize – awarded to the entrepreneur in Year 2 with the highest business revenue growth since joining the fellowship.
- Storytelling Prize – awarded to the entrepreneur in Year 2 who has creatively communicated and distributed their entrepreneurship story through written, oral, and visual storytelling.
- Systems of Delivery Prize – awarded to the entrepreneur in Year 2 who has effectively used systems and processes learned in the program to advance their business model.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Anzisha Venture Building Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be between 15 and 22 years old with an ID document or Passport as evidence. (Born between 1 September 2003 and 31 August 2010).
- Be a national of an African country with a business based in Africa serving African customers/beneficiaries.
- Have already started a business, invention, or social project and be able to prove tangible results. The fellowship is not for ideas or business plans.
- Operate in any field or industry (e.g., science and technology, civil society, arts and culture, sports, etc.).
- Be one of the founding members of the business (e.g., co-founders who started the project together).
