✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the ASM Ambassador Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Current ASM membership. If you are not an ASM member, you can join or renew online.
• A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a microbiology-related field, or a graduate degree with 10 years of post-academic experience.
• At least 3 microbiology-related papers published in the last 5 years.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
• Ability to commit at least 5 hours per month to ambassador activities.

Applications must include the following:

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
2. List of ASM and non-ASM meetings regularly attended.
3. Membership in national, regional, and international scientific societies.
4. Cover letter explaining your interest in the position, relevant skills, and experience.
5. Action plan outlining proposed activities in the young ambassador role.
6. Letter of recommendation from an ASM member.
