🌟 Benefits of ACI Foundation Fellowship & Scholarship

Fellowship Recipients Will Receive:

• $10,000 USD educational stipend for tuition, residence, books, and materials.
• Recognition in Concrete International magazine and on the Foundation website.
• Paid travel expenses and attendance fees to two ACI conventions (must be used during the award year).
  • Fellowship finalists must attend the Spring ACI Convention for interviews.
• Matched with an industry mentor.

Scholarship Recipients Will Receive:

• $5,000 USD educational stipend for tuition, residence, books, and materials.
• Recognition in Concrete International magazine and on the Foundation website.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Fellowship Applications:

• Open to international students, but applicants must attend an institution in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico during the award cycle.
• Some fellowships require the awardee to complete a 10- to 12-week internship during the summer of 2026.
• Finalists will be notified by February 2026 and must attend an interview with the Scholarship Council on March 29, 2026, at the Spring ACI Concrete Convention.
  • Travel expenses, hotel, registration, and a travel stipend will be provided by ACI Foundation.
• Proficiency in English is required.
  • Applicants can optionally upload a copy of their TOEFL score.
• Fellowship awardees must submit a written report near the end of their fellowship period describing the value of the fellowship to their personal development and career preparation.

Scholarship Applications:

• Graduate Scholarship Eligibility:
  • Must be a full-time student in a master's or PhD program during the entire award cycle.
  • Applicants must not have exceeded their second year of a master's program or fourth year of a PhD program.
• Undergraduate Scholarship Eligibility:
  • Must be a full-time undergraduate student at the time of application and during the entire award cycle.

📝 Application Process

To apply, applicants must submit the following:

1. Contact and educational information.
2. A resume in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.
3. A 500-word essay.
4. Official transcripts in English with a 4.0 grading scale.
5. Two endorsements, one of which MUST be from an ACI member.
