📖 About the Scholarship

The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and its co-venture partners, invites applications from qualified Nigerian students for the 2025 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme.

This programme aims to:

• Promote academic excellence.
• Improve the skills of young Nigerians.
• Provide a yearly grant to successful applicants from their second year to the completion of their undergraduate degree programme.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

The merit-based scholarship is open to FULL-TIME undergraduates studying in Public Universities within Nigeria.

Applicants must:

• Be a Nigerian citizen.
• Be in their second year of full-time study in a Public Nigerian University accredited by the NUC.
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system (or equivalent in other grading systems).
• Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity in the Oil and Gas industry, whether national or international.

Note: Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

🏆 Selection Criteria

Applicants must:

• Submit their application via the scholarship portal ONLY before the deadline.
• Meet the eligibility criteria to be invited for a monitored computer-based test.
• Be among the top 10 candidates shortlisted from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for academic verification prior to the scholarship offer.
• Avoid submitting falsified results, as this will lead to disqualification.
• Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 per session (in a 5-grade system or equivalent) to sustain the award.

Requirements for Application:

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following documents:

• A recent passport-sized photograph (JPEG format, not more than 200 KB).
• University or JAMB Admission Letter.
• Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result.
• O' Level Result(s) and A' Level/OND/NCE Result(s) (if applicable).
• Letter of Identification from the State of Origin, indicating the applicant's local government of origin.
• Academic results (CGPA) after completing 100 level.

3. Include personal and educational details in the application.
4. Upload the required documents listed above.
5. Download and complete the Government Official Declaration Form from the provided link.
6. Follow these steps to complete the application:
   • Click "Apply Now" and register to create an account.
   • Activate your account via email.
   • Log in to the scholarship portal and upload your information.
   • Ensure all uploaded documents are accurate and error-free.
   • Submit your application and confirm submission via the "My Application" section on your profile.
   • Download your profile and have your Head of Department sign it.
   • Upload the signed profile for verification.
