✅ Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to innovative early-stage new actors, digital-first outlets, and more mature media companies pivoting to new revenue models or adding new revenue lines. Selected media must meet the following requirements:
- Participants looking to seed viable new ventures, expand existing ventures, drive innovative initiatives, and promote adaptation and experimentation in content creation, distribution, and engagement.
- A registered independent media company (or a new venture with strong evidence of viability).
- Mission-driven businesses passionate about trying new approaches to local news and information.
- Organizations with unique (non-traditional) approaches to information services, developing strategies to reach and serve their audiences.
