the 93rd EAS Congress

On behalf of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and the British Atherosclerosis Society (BAS), we are proud to invite you to participate in the 93rd EAS Congress in the city of Glasgow. Known as the gateway to Scotland, Glasgow is an incredibly friendly, cosmopolitan city with beautiful architecture and numerous cultural attractions. In 2022, Glasgow was named “The World’s Friendliest City” by TimeOut magazine. It is ideally placed for exploring the West Coast islands, Loch Lomond, whisky distilleries, majestic castles, and numerous golf courses.

Congress Highlights

The congress will continue the success of the recent event held in Lyon, France, offering both in-person and virtual attendance. During the meeting, we will explore the latest developments in basic, translational, and clinical research into the causes of atherosclerosis and related vascular disease, and how these may affect clinical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.

Support for Young Scientists

The EAS mission includes supporting young scientists in progressing their careers through Young Investigator Fellowships. This initiative offers early-career scientists the opportunity to:

• Network with others in the field
