the 93rd EAS Congress
Date: May 4 – May 7, 2025
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
On behalf of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and the British Atherosclerosis Society (BAS), we are proud to invite you to participate in the 93rd EAS Congress in the city of Glasgow. Known as the gateway to Scotland, Glasgow is an incredibly friendly, cosmopolitan city with beautiful architecture and numerous cultural attractions. In 2022, Glasgow was named “The World’s Friendliest City” by TimeOut magazine. It is ideally placed for exploring the West Coast islands, Loch Lomond, whisky distilleries, majestic castles, and numerous golf courses.
Congress Highlights
The congress will continue the success of the recent event held in Lyon, France, offering both in-person and virtual attendance. During the meeting, we will explore the latest developments in basic, translational, and clinical research into the causes of atherosclerosis and related vascular disease, and how these may affect clinical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Features
- Interdisciplinary Exchange: High-level interaction between clinicians and basic researchers.
- Scientific Programme: Includes the award-winning Anitschkow Lecture, outstanding Keynote Lectures, state-of-the-art Plenary Sessions, and focused Workshops and Advanced Clinical Seminars.
- Science at a Glance and Poster Sessions: Opportunities to ask questions and share ideas.
