Beyond Balance: Homecoming Weekend Conference

The 2023 Homecoming Conference was designed for Black women in Social Work to Return to Self by gaining awareness of and embracing their self-identity beyond their professional and life-demanding capacities. The conference held space for 130 like-minded Black women, both professionals and students in Social Work, to cultivate post-conference success and advancement.

For 2025, we are building upon the inaugural conference experience to go Beyond Balance. Our aim is to curate a brave space for Black women in Social Work to connect, recharge, and elevate strategies for personal and professional advancement. Together, we will explore going beyond traditional work-life balance to achieve alignment, intentionality, and lasting success.
