Abstract
This study investigates how hunger affects aesthetic judgments of human bodies, faces, and objects. Forty-four participants (21 women) rated the attractiveness of slim and round stimuli under fasting and post-snack conditions. Results showed an overall preference for slim stimuli, but hunger led to higher ratings of round stimuli. This effect was present across all stimulus types (bodies, faces, and objects) and was moderated by participants' BMI, with higher BMI individuals showing a greater preference shift towards round stimuli when hungry.
