Abstract
This study comprehensively assesses the influence and potential of Fintech in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). It evaluates Fintech development levels across ASEAN countries based on financial activities, technology infrastructure, and Fintech-enabling regulations. A decision-making framework combining numerical and linguistic assessments (DCRITIC and F-EDAS methods) reveals varying development levels. The study urges supportive environments for Fintech innovation to spur economic growth and digital transformation, acknowledging a limitation in the uninvestigated weights of key regulations.
