Abstract
This paper reports the observation of three-dimensional (3D) magnetic textures, termed 'skyrmionic cocoons', within magnetic thin film aperiodic multilayers. These ellipsoidal objects coexist with tubular skyrmions, exhibiting distinct contrasts in room-temperature magnetic force microscopy (MFM). Micromagnetic simulations investigated their chiral and topological properties, and magneto-transport measurements demonstrated their electrical detectability.
