Abstract
This paper introduces a lensless planar architecture for a compound-eye camera, where each pixel of an image sensor array is coated with plasmonic nanostructures to enable directional photodetection. The device design, fabrication, and testing are described, along with computational imaging techniques used to reconstruct high-quality images from the sensor data. This approach allows for ultrathin, planar cameras with wide fields of view.
