Abstract
Open access to rodent cognitive data has lagged behind other neuroscience areas. This paper describes MouseBytes, a web-based repository for storing, sharing, visualizing, and analyzing cognitive data from touchscreen-automated testing in animal models. It also introduces MouseBytes+, which integrates data from complementary neuro-technologies (e.g., fiber photometry, miniscopes) with behavioral data, facilitating multi-modal analysis. The platforms adhere to FAIR data principles and have been used by over 4600 users to access data from over 3000 mice.
