This paper presents the design and implementation of a self-powered ocean environment monitoring system utilizing a high-strength, environmentally compatible, floatable metamaterial energy harvesting device. The system overcomes limitations of traditional methods by harvesting ocean wave energy (1-2 Hz) with high energy density (99 W/m³), enabling real-time monitoring of various ocean parameters and wireless data transmission to the cloud. The device's unique design, based on the energy concentration effect of point-defect metamaterials, ensures stable power supply even under extreme weather conditions.
