Mental health of entrepreneurs and daily recovery experiences
M. L. Moal, R. Thurik, et al.
Research conducted by Mathieu Le Moal, Roy Thurik, Olivier Torrès and Guillaume Soenen analyzes daily recovery experiences after work (detachment, relaxation, mastery, control) among French entrepreneurs and finds they score lower on all four dimensions, with detachment lowest; overall recovery improves well-being and reduces burnout, while relaxation and control link most to well-being and control most strongly to reduced burnout.
