Abstract
This study investigates the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on South Korea's Food, Beverage & Tobacco (F&B) industry stock returns. Using the ARIMA (2,2,3) model on daily KOSDAQ F&B index data (January 1999-October 2022), the study forecasts future stock movements. Results show a negative trend in F&B sector returns following the conflict's intensification, highlighting the vulnerability of South Korea's food security due to its reliance on imports. The study recommends increased focus on domestic agribusiness and food self-sufficiency for South Korea.
