Abstract
This paper presents a harmonization effort of COVID-19 public health and safety measures (PHSM) data from eight major datasets into the CoronaNet taxonomy. The authors address the existing gaps in comprehensive COVID-19 PHSM data, highlighting the challenges and methodologies used to harmonize diverse datasets. A comparative analysis of the datasets, the harmonization process, and an assessment of the resulting dataset's strengths and limitations are provided. The harmonized dataset offers improved coverage of COVID-19 PHSM across time and geographic regions.
