Abstract
Current strain sensors struggle to differentiate individual forces/stresses in complex human motions. This paper introduces unimodal tension, bend, shear, and twist strain sensors using piezoelectric poly L-lactic acid films, integrated into an i-US. The i-US successfully differentiates these strain modes in complex motion, demonstrated through a sleeve and glove capturing wrist and finger movements, promising advancements in motion recognition and control systems.
