Abstract
This pilot study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of a novel integrated cognitive-physical videogame, Body-Brain Trainer (BBT), in enhancing attention in children aged 7-12 years. Twenty-two children participated in a 24-session, 8-week after-school program. Significant improvements were observed in parent-reported inattention, objective cognitive tests, and neural measures of attention, comparable to previous studies. These improvements persisted for at least one year. The study suggests BBT is a feasible and potentially effective non-pharmaceutical intervention for enhancing attention in children.
