Abstract
This study investigates the asymmetric impact of agricultural commodity price shocks, credit disbursement, and labor force on Pakistan's agricultural growth using a nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model with data from 1970 to 2018. Results indicate that both positive and negative price shocks positively affect agricultural growth, but positive shocks have a more significant stimulating effect. Credit disbursement and labor force also significantly and positively impact agricultural value-added in both the short and long run.
