This study examines the constraints faced by urban farmers in southeast Nigeria. 280 urban farmers were surveyed using questionnaires. Data analysis, including principal component analysis (PCA), revealed three key constraints: infrastructural, socio-economic/environmental, and institutional. The study recommends proactive policy responses and infrastructural support to enhance urban agriculture's potential.
