Abstract
This paper assesses the impact of climate hazards (floods, cyclones, and erosion) on infrastructure service delivery and progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Bangladesh's coastal zone. Using a high-resolution dataset of 8.2 million households, the study finds that climate hazards disproportionately threaten the poorest households, jeopardizing progress on several SDG indicators. Targeted adaptation measures in vulnerable areas could safeguard a significant portion of the progress towards these SDGs.
