Abstract
This commentary examines the interplay between climate change, disasters, and the mental health of adolescents in India. India's vulnerability to climate change impacts, particularly in disaster-prone regions, necessitates understanding the mental health consequences, especially for adolescents who are particularly susceptible during their neurodevelopmental phase. The authors review existing literature and present findings from a pilot study in the Sundarbans, highlighting the significant mental health burden and the need for integrated service delivery models to address this critical issue.
