Can positive emotional writing improve the emotional health level of international medical students? Evidence from a randomized controlled trial

Positive emotional writing, tested in a single-blind randomized trial of international medical students, significantly reduced depression and anxiety and increased subjective well-being compared with routine care after eight weeks. The intervention produced greater decreases in SDS and SAS scores and a larger increase in GWB. Research conducted by Qiaoling Xiao, Yang Cao, Shuo Wu, Yu Zou, and Xi Hu.
