Abstract
A circular economy for batteries is crucial for sustainability. This paper presents a digital solution framework that optimizes five key value drivers for battery circularity: safety, regulatory compliance, carbon footprint reduction, quality, and financials. The framework uses innovative analytical models and a trusted data platform to forecast availability, predict remaining value, minimize reverse logistics costs, and maximize value recovery from end-of-life batteries. The solution can reduce average transportation costs by 11% to 44%, estimate battery health with error rates under 1%, and improve value recovery by 52% to 60%.
