Abstract
This study evaluates endometrial cancer trends in incidence, mortality, and survival by comparing US ethnic groups (NHW, NHB, and Hispanic) to women living in Puerto Rico (PR). Puerto Rico had the highest incidence rates (41.3 per 100,000 women), followed by NHW, NHB, and Hispanic. Women in PR younger than 65 had higher incidence rates. NHB had higher overall mortality rates (12.5 per 100,000 women). PR women under 50 had the highest mortality rates, while rates were higher for NHB after age 50. PR women showed higher incidence and mortality rates below 50 years old. Future studies need to evaluate histology, obesity trends, and quality of life.
