β Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a masterβs degree with 2β6 years of professional working experience.
- Nationality: Must hold citizenship of a World Bank Group member country (verified via passport or equivalent document).
- Degree Completion:
- A masterβs-level degree or equivalent in a relevant field must be completed before September 1, 2026.
- Doctoral candidates must have substantially completed their research and submitted all written work by the same date.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of spoken and written English (fluency in other languages is advantageous).
- Employment Restrictions:
- Cannot be a current World Bank Group staff member.
- Cannot hold an ET or ST contract with the Bank.
- Former Bank interns may apply if their internship ended on or before September 30, 2025.
- Other Requirements: Must comply with the employment eligibility policy.
