📖 About WomenLift Health x WILAN Nigeria Leadership Journey

WomenLift Health, in partnership with the Women in Leadership Advancement Network (WILAN), is launching the 2026 Nigeria Leadership Journey. This fully-funded, 12-month Leadership Journey provides mid-career women with:

  • A safe space to explore their authentic leadership through vulnerability and reflection.
  • An inclusive and diverse network fostering a strong sense of belonging.
  • Tools and strategies for enhancing their voice, presence, and influence.
  • Support from a powerful group of peers, mentors, and coaches.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible for consideration if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • Identify as a woman.
  • Work in a role focusing on public health policy, practice, and/or research. Your work and partnerships should serve populations at the national level in Nigeria. This may include:
    • Practicing public health in hospitals and health centers.
    • Producing research and innovation.
    • Creating or implementing policy.
    • Managing teams, departments, projects, or grants.
  • Be a mid-career leader with 10–20 years of experience in public health.
  • Reside and work within Nigeria.
  • Be a national of Nigeria.
  • Possess strong written and verbal English skills that go beyond basic or technical communication. This includes the ability to:
    • Articulate emotions.
    • Participate in reflective dialogue.
    • Engage in complex interpersonal conversations.
    • Integrate leadership development concepts throughout the journey.
  • Live in the West Africa Standard Time zone for at least 75% of the program. Time zone compatibility is essential for participation in touchpoints and engagement with peers.
  • Represent diverse sectors such as public, private, academia, NGO, philanthropy, research, and development, as well as different disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
