🌍 About the Program

This Leadership Journey is uniquely designed to meet the needs of women leaders working across the public health landscape in East Africa. The program is grounded in the local context while being globally informed. Participants will engage in a transformative journey that reflects the realities of East Africa and supports their growth as impactful leaders.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible for consideration if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • You identify as a woman.
  • You work in a role that focuses on public health policy, practice, and/or research. Your work and partnerships should serve populations at the national or regional level in East Africa. This may include:
    • Practicing public health
    • Producing research and innovation
    • Creating or implementing policy
    • Supporting health service delivery
    • Managing teams, departments, projects, or grants in public health
  • You have 10-25 years of experience working in public health in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Ethiopia).
  • You are an East Africa national and reside and work within East Africa.
  • You possess ease in written and verbal communication in English.

Additional Requirement:

Participants must reside in the East Africa Time (EAT) or Central Africa Time (CAT) time zone for at least 75% of the program duration. Time zone compatibility is essential for effective engagement with peers.
