This program provides opportunities for scientists to apply for grants to advance the study of bats, birds, amphibians, and other terrestrial wildlife or to attend conferences with their peers.

The Wildlife Acoustics Grant Program is designed to:

• Support wildlife research and habitat monitoring.

1. Standard Product Grant

   • Up to $12,000 USD in eligible products per quarter.
   • Individual applicants may request up to $4,000 USD for recorders, accessories, and software licenses.

2. Software-Only Grant

   • Annual Kaleidoscope Pro license(s) provided via a simplified application process.

3. Travel Grant

   • $1,000 USD per quarter to cover conference registration, travel, and lodging for early-career researchers.

  • Master’s students
  • PhD students
  • Postdoctoral fellows
• Conservationists conducting fieldwork or research on:
  • Bats
  • Birds
  • Amphibians

• Independent researchers or institutions (excluding government agencies).
