Opportunity Overview

The Warsaw Fellowship Program is an intensive leadership and learning initiative designed to strengthen civic engagement in an increasingly digital and polarized world.

📖 About the Program

The Warsaw Fellowship Program offers participants the opportunity to:

  • Engage with leading experts and practitioners, including members of the Senior Fellows Network.
  • Exchange perspectives with an international group of participants.
  • Explore real-world challenges related to democracy, human rights, and digital transformation.
  • Develop their own Action Project with the support of mentors and peers.

🎁 Benefits

Participation in the Fellowship is free of charge. The program covers:

  • Accommodation (with breakfast).
  • Lunches during the program.
  • Local transportation.

Participants are expected to cover:

  • Travel costs to and from Warsaw.
  • Insurance.
  • One daily meal and personal expenses.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

This Fellowship is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Applicants from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, and the United States are eligible.
  • Background: Open to students, activists, educators, professionals, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Both those already active in the field and those just beginning to explore it are encouraged to apply.
  • Inclusivity: Applications are particularly encouraged from individuals with lived experiences of marginalization and those who wish to act as allies. The program fosters dialogue and change by bringing together diverse perspectives.
  • Language: A good command of English is required to participate in discussions and collaborative work.
  • Age: There is no age limit for applicants.

📝 Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Complete the online application form. Note: The form does not allow saving progress.
  2. Review the PDF template to prepare your answers and attachments in advance.

Required Application Materials:

  • Current CV (up to 2 pages in PDF format).
  • Essay on one of three given topics (up to 500 words).
  • Short video (up to 90 seconds) and a description (up to 100 words) presenting your Action Project idea.
  • Concept for sharing your experience beyond the Fellowship (up to 250 words).
