✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Vici ZonMw NWO Talent Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be at the stage of consolidating and further developing their leadership/research group.
• Demonstrate how the Vici grant will contribute to the development of their research group.
• Researchers significantly further along in their careers, with an already established research group and substantial funding, are not eligible.
• Possess academic qualities that clearly exceed international peer group standards, along with proven leadership and mentorship skills.
• Must have obtained their PhD within the 15 years preceding the benchmark date of this round, 1 March 2026. Extensions may be possible under specific circumstances.
