The National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) is currently accepting applications for its UP Fellowship Program 2026. This program is designed to help ethnically diverse women with 7-12 years of alternative investment industry experience strategically accelerate their careers through a targeted 6-month professional development program (March – September).

The UP Fellowship Program is tailored to address the unique challenges of mid-career advancement. It provides a structured approach to breaking through professional barriers and advancing careers in the alternative investment industry.

🎁 Benefits of the UP Fellowship Program

Mentorship

UP Fellows are paired with senior executive mentors from the alternative investment industry.
Fellows will meet with their mentors for one hour per month during the 6-month program.
Mentorship sessions focus on professional development, addressing challenges, exploring career options, and planning for the future.
Meetings can be conducted via phone, video conference, or in person.

Workshops

Fellows will participate in expert-led workshops designed to transform mid-career professionals into strategic leaders. Topics include:

Strategic Sourcing Techniques
Relationship Capital: Building and leveraging professional networks
Negotiation Strategies for high-stakes environments
Personal Brand Positioning in alternative investments
Communication Frameworks for executive presence

Fellows will connect with a cohort of women, past participants, and members to build lasting professional and personal relationships.

To qualify for the UP Fellowship Program, applicants must:

Be ethnically diverse women with 7-12 years of experience in the alternative investment industry.
Be available to fully participate in the program.
