Recipients of the University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship will receive:

Living Allowance:
- $43,500 per year (2025 full-time study rate) for up to:
- 2 years for Master by Research students
- 3.5 years for Doctoral students
- Indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, maternity, and parenting leave.

- Up to 2 years for Master by Research students.
- Up to 4 years for Doctoral students.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a Master or Doctorate by Research degree for commencement in the year of award.
- Intend to undertake graduate research in the field of Human Rights.
- Not have already completed a research qualification at the same or higher level as the course for which the scholarship is sought.
- Not have previously received a graduate research scholarship.
