UNICEF is currently accepting applications for its Education Cannot Wait (ECW) Internship 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and communications work under the ECW program. Interns will analyze data and reports from ECW-supported programs, assist with the 2025 annual results report, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The UNICEF Education Cannot Wait (ECW) Internship 2026 is designed to provide hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Monitoring and evaluation of ECW-supported programs.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge-sharing and communications work.

Interns will receive the following benefits:
- Monthly stipend:
- USD 1,700 in New York, Geneva, and Copenhagen.
- 70% of GS level 3 step 1 salary in other duty stations.
โ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Must be enrolled in a masterโs program or have graduated from a bachelorโs/masterโs degree within the last 3 years.
- Academic background in education, humanitarian/development, or social sciences.
- Skills in data analysis:
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Knowledge of R, STATA, Power Query, or Kobo is encouraged.
- Experience in synthesizing information and drafting global-level reports in English.
- Lived experience in a low-middle income country is valued.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
- No immediate relatives working in UNICEF or the ECW Secretariat.
- Must comply with UNICEF Child Safeguarding Personnel Standards.
