๐ About the Fellowship
The Toronto Metropolitan University - CERC Migration and Bridging Divides Journalism Fellowship is designed for staff or freelance journalists with a proven track record in covering immigration, politics, social issues, global affairs, or the economy. This fellowship offers journalists a unique opportunity to step away from the newsroom, immerse themselves in a focused period of learning and exchange, and gain deeper insights into migration dynamics.
During the residency, fellows will:
- Share their perspectives on journalism practices.
- Explore effective ways to communicate research with the media.
Note: There is no expectation for fellows to produce stories about Toronto Metropolitan University during or after their residency.
