📖 About the Bursary

The Noosa Community Foundation (NCF) Bursary supports Noosa-based students with financial need who are enrolled in any undergraduate program at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC).

  • Bursary Payments: Payments will be made approximately three weeks after Census Date, once enrolment has been confirmed.
  • Availability: The number of bursaries available in each study period varies. This bursary is offered on a study-periodic basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is unavailable during a given study period, the bursary will not be awarded.

  • The bursary provides A$2,500 to eligible students.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a continuing 2nd year or above student who has successfully completed a minimum of 96 units.
  • Be enrolled full-time in any undergraduate program at UniSC.
  • Be a resident of the Noosa Shire.
  • Hold one of the following citizenship or residency statuses:
    • Australian citizen
    • New Zealand citizen
    • Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
    • Permanent Resident of Australia
