Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Eligible Applicants: Non-profit institutions or organizations involved in Japanese-language education in the U.S.
• Ineligible Applicants:
  • Individuals
  • U.S. government bodies
  • Organizations receiving Japanese government funds
  • Institutions restricted by law from foreign aid
  • Organizations serving commercial, political, or religious purposes
• Applicants must maintain a bank account in the institution’s name capable of receiving grant funds from JFLA.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances is required.
