📝 About The Internet Society Pulse Research Fellowship and Mentorship

A fully funded six-month fellowship program run by the Internet Society.
Designed for early-career researchers and mentors to work on Internet measurement research.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

For Fellows:

Early-career researchers (within 10 years of graduation).
Affiliated with academic or research institutions.
Knowledge of Internet measurements, policy, or data visualization.
Commitment of 25 hours/week for six months.
Must not have been previous Pulse Fellows.
A letter of support is required.

For Mentors:

Experienced researchers with a PhD and a strong publication record.
Prior mentorship experience.
Commitment of 4–8 hours/week.
Can come from academia, industry, or non-profits.

📅 Application Date and Process

1. Submit Interest Form

Complete the online interest form by December 23, 2025 (11:59 UTC).
Include required documents:
- CV
- Proposal outline
- Supervisor letter (if applying as a fellow)

2. Initial Notification

Shortlisted candidates will be notified on January 16, 2026.

3. Detailed Application

If shortlisted, submit a full proposal by February 6, 2026.
Proposal should align with Pulse focus areas (e.g., Internet resilience, shutdowns, market concentration).
