The Farmlink Project is currently accepting applications for its FIELD Fellowship 2026. This program is designed to address food insecurity by redirecting surplus food from farms to food banks. The Farmlink Project FIELD Fellowship is an initiative that tackles food insecurity by connecting surplus food from farms to food banks. The program provides participants with the opportunity to develop actionable solutions and gain hands-on experience in addressing food system challenges.

Participants of the FIELD Fellowship will receive the following benefits:

  • $6,000 living stipend for the full-time summer immersion (Phase 2).
  • Travel costs covered for the immersion destination.
  • Need-based stipends available if participation displaces paid work.

To be eligible for the FIELD Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Open to undergraduate students, recent graduates (within 1 year), and graduate students.
  • Not available to high school students.
  • No prior experience in sustainability or food systems is requiredβ€”action-oriented students are prioritized.
