  • 45% interim payment upon milestone validation.

âś… Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply

Eligible applicants must be based in EU Member States or Associated Countries operating in the Mediterranean basin. These include:

  • Regional and local authorities
  • NGOs and civil society organisations
  • Research and educational institutions
  • Companies and SMEs
  • Associations and multi-stakeholder groups
  • Ports, marinas, aquaculture actors, and biodiversity-focused organisations

Geographic and Structural Requirements

  • All activities must take place within the Mediterranean basin.
  • Applications must be submitted in English.
  • Organisations must comply with EU sanctions.
  • Each organisation may submit only one proposal per call.
  • Proposals must be submitted by consortia of at least two legal entities representing a Mission community.

  2. Select one primary Pillar that aligns with your project’s objectives.
  3. Define the problem statement and explain its relevance to the Mediterranean context.
  4. Develop a clear methodology, including work packages and milestone steps.
  5. Outline expected outcomes and measurable impacts.
  6. Prepare a detailed budget, adhering to the lump-sum format.
  7. Compile documentation (legal forms, declarations, sanction compliance).
  8. Submit the proposal in English through the EU funding portal before the deadline.
