📖 About the Fellowship

The Asia Health Policy Program at the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (Shorenstein APARC) promotes a comparative understanding of health and health policy in the Asia-Pacific region. Since its inception, the program has been committed to fostering the next generation of Asia health policy researchers. Each year, the program offers a postdoctoral fellowship position to a recent doctoral graduate.

🎁 Benefits

The postdoctoral fellowship includes:

• A minimum 10-month appointment.
• Salary: $80,000 annually (prorated for the 10-month duration).
• Research Expenses: $3,000.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• The fellowship is limited to recent PhDs:
  • Applicants cannot be more than three years past the awarding of their doctoral degree (or no more than six years past the awarding of their M.D.) when the fellowship starts.
• Degree conferral and approval must be completed no later than June 30, 2026 for fellowships starting in fall 2026.
