📖 About Shaanxi Normal University CSC Scholarship

The CSC High-Level Postgraduate Program is a fully-funded scholarship program sponsored by the Chinese Government for international students to pursue postgraduate degrees in China. Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU), as an enrollment institution for the CSC High-Level Postgraduate Scholarship Program, welcomes outstanding international students to apply. SNNU will recommend excellent candidates to CSC, and the final admission will be determined after review by CSC experts.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• For Master’s degree programs:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Be under 35 years old.
• For PhD programs:
  • Must have a Master’s degree.
  • Be under 40 years old.
• Must meet the admission requirements of the chosen program at SNNU.
• Proficiency in the language of instruction (English or Chinese):
  • For Chinese-taught programs, HSK certificates may be required.
  • For English-taught programs, IELTS/TOEFL scores or an official English proficiency letter are required.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance.

Application Process:

1. Log on to:
   • SNNU Online Application System: https://snnu.17gz.org/
   • CSC Online Application System: https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/
2. Use Agency Number: 10718 and select Type B.

Required Documents:

1. Copy of Passport Home Page:
   • If the current passport expires before September 2026, applicants must apply for a new passport before submission.
2. Notarized Highest Diploma:
   • Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status from their current school.
   • Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must include notarized translations.
3. Academic Transcripts:
   • Provide copies of academic records from the first to the last semester during undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs (if applicable).
   • Transcripts must be issued and sealed by the attending university’s academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department.
4. Language Qualification Certificates:
   • For Chinese-taught programs: Submit valid reports of HSK Level 4 and above.
   • For English-taught programs: Provide valid English proficiency certificates like IELTS or TOEFL.
5. Study Plan Proposal:
   • A study plan written in Chinese or English with more than 1,000 characters or words.
   • Doctoral students must have their proposal signed by their Chinese supervisor.
6. Two Recommendation Letters:
   • Written in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.
   • Letters should describe the applicant’s learning objectives, abilities, and future growth potential.
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form:
   • Completed in English and designed by the Chinese quarantine authority.
   • Must include all listed items, the attending physician’s signature, hospital stamp, and a sealed photograph.
   • Valid for 6 months.
8. Non-Criminal Record Report:
   • Submit a valid certificate issued by the local public security authority within 6 months prior to submission.
9. Supporting Materials:
   • Include published scientific research papers, patents, awards, or other materials reflecting the applicant’s research ability and comprehensive quality.
