Are you a young African woman fervently committed to responsibility, justice, and peace? The Researchers Without Borders (REWiB) Training Program 2025 is now accepting applications. This program aims to empower young African women with the skills necessary to monitor, document, and report on the implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda.
π About Researchers Without Borders (REWiB) Training
Researchers Without Borders (REWiB), in partnership with the African Union Gender Peace and Security Programme, is hosting a 5-day training program. The training is designed to strengthen young African womenβs skills in:
- Monitoring
- Documenting
- Reporting on the implementation of the WPS agenda
Graduates of the program will:
- Design and implement localized monitoring initiatives.
- Contribute findings to a continental WPS monitoring compendium, which will be shared with the African Union, national governments, and WPS-HA Compact partners.

β Eligibility Criteria
The program is looking for 20 dynamic young women who are:
- Passionate about the WPS and YPS agendas.
- Interested in gaining practical skills in data collection, community monitoring, and reporting.
- Eager to design and implement youth-led accountability projects.
- Committed to contributing to WPS monitoring initiatives.
