✅ Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship-Specific Conditions

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a Qatari National or have a Qatari mother.
2. Be of good conduct and repute.
3. Be medically fit and pass all prescribed medical examinations.
4. Be between 17 and 24 years old at the time of application.
5. Have graduated from high school within the past three years.
   • Qatari-National Students: Minimum overall score of 85%.
   • Qatari-Mother Students: Minimum overall score of 90%.
   • High school certificates not issued by Qatar's Ministry of Education must include an Equivalency Statement.
6. Meet the IELTS requirements:
   • Qatari-National Students: Minimum band score of 5.5 (not less than 5.0 in each component).
   • Qatari-Mother Students: Minimum band score of 6.0 (not less than 5.0 in each component).
7. The chosen field of study must be on Qatar Airways' accepted list of study majors.
8. The university must be accredited by Qatar's Ministry of Education and located in an approved country.
9. If studying abroad, provide a Pre-approval Letter from Qatar's Ministry of Education.
10. Submit a final unconditional acceptance letter from an accredited university.
11. Male Qatari nationals must provide proof of completion, exemption, or deferral of Qatar National Service.
12. Must not be currently sponsored, employed, or previously terminated by Qatar Airways.
13. Must have a Qatari guarantor willing to cover scholarship expenses in case of withdrawal or failure.

📋 Selection Process

1st Stage: Initial Shortlisting

• Candidates will be notified if shortlisted and may be required to attend a personal interview and submit additional documents.

2nd Stage: Final Selection

Selected candidates will need to:

1. Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate.
2. Pass required medical tests.
3. Provide the guarantor’s salary certificate or equivalent proof.
4. Submit a Qatari bank IBAN number.
5. Sign the Scholarship Contract with Qatar Airways.

1. Copy of valid passport (coloured).
2. Copy of valid Qatar ID card (both sides, coloured).
3. Recent passport-sized photo.
4. Copy of guarantor’s passport and Qatar ID card (both sides, coloured).

Educational Documents: 5. High school certificate or equivalency certificate showing grades. 6. Recent IELTS certificate (not older than 24 months). 7. Unconditional acceptance letter from an accredited university. 8. Pre-approval letter (if studying abroad). 9. Proof of completion, exemption, or deferral of Qatar National Service (for male applicants). 10. Letter from Qatar's Ministry of Education confirming no other scholarships. 11. Letter from Qatar's Ministry of Labour confirming non-employment.

Additional Documents for Qatari-Mother Applicants:

12. Copy of mother’s ID card (both sides).
13. Copy of birth certificate issued by Qatar's Ministry of Health.
14. Certificate confirming all education stages were completed in Qatar.
