- The employer or client must be willing to bear part of the costs (e.g., fees) proportional to the total costs.
- Applicants must not have received funding from the Postcode Lottery Fund for Journalists in the past calendar year.
- Disclose any other subsidies or applications for the same production.
- Submit a complete application; incomplete applications will not be assessed.

Application Process:
- Submit a fully completed application form written in Dutch, highlighting the background and journalistic elaboration of the project.
- Include at least one letter of intent from an employer or client (e.g., editor-in-chief) who commits to publication or broadcast upon proven quality and relevance.
- Submitting multiple letters of intent and publishing reports in various media to reach a larger and more varied audience is encouraged.
- Provide a detailed budget:
- Include a clear estimate of all costs and benefits of the trip.
- The fund reimburses only travel and accommodation costs.
- If receiving a subsidy from another institute or fund, include proof of this.
- Attach relevant publications (maximum of 3 files) from previous work.
