📖 About Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) GROW Programme

The OCIF GROW Programme is a newly launched fund under the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) in South Africa. It is an extension of the Orange Corners incubation and acceleration programmes, designed to address the financing needs of young entrepreneurs in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

The programme supports young entrepreneurs to:

Scale their businesses
Create jobs
Address local social challenges

🎁 Benefits of the OCIF GROW Programme

Participants in the programme will receive the following benefits:

Funding between R200,000 – R1,000,000.
Support for innovative products, processes, business models, or marketing strategies.
Opportunity to expand workforce and align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ongoing support and impact measurement throughout the project’s lifecycle.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the OCIF GROW Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

General Requirements:

Open to youth aged 18–35 who are graduates of Orange Corners programmes or own innovative businesses in South Africa.
Applicants must be South African citizens, permanent residents, or legal entities controlled by them.

Business Requirements:

Businesses must:
- Be youth-owned and managed.
- Operate within the first 7 years of establishment.
- Have at least 6 months of trading history.
- Show an annual turnover between ZAR 250,000 – ZAR 10 million.
- Demonstrate clear innovation with proven market traction.
- Address local challenges and align with the SDGs.
- Show the ability to repay the loan portion of the funding.
- Provide ongoing impact reports.
