Eligible applicants include:

  • Human rights defenders, activists, and journalists
  • Individuals and unregistered initiatives committed to human rights advocacy
  • Exiled or diaspora groups implementing projects outside Central Asia

  1. Prepare Your Proposal: Outline objectives, target population, activities, and expected outcomes.
  2. Confirm Eligibility: Ensure your organization or initiative meets the programme criteria.
  3. Complete Application Form: The form is in English; submissions can be in English or Russian.
  4. Submit Before Deadline: Applications are due 31 December 2025, 12:00 Almaty time.
  5. Review Process: The Norwegian Helsinki Committee will assess submissions after the deadline and notify applicants in the following weeks.
