✅ Internship Requirements
NAI is seeking motivated candidates with a strong academic background and a passion for development issues. The ideal candidate will have:
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a Master’s programme in economics, development studies, political economy, environmental sciences, or other related fields.
- Residency in Sweden and proximity to Uppsala, as the internship requires on-site presence (visa sponsorship is not available).
- Familiarity with development economics concepts and debates, particularly in the African context.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical packages and programming languages (e.g., STATA, SPSS, or R) being an advantage.
- Strong academic writing skills and fluency in English (oral and written).
- Knowledge of Swedish is considered meritorious.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.
