✅ Internship Requirements

NAI is seeking motivated candidates with a strong academic background and a passion for development issues. The ideal candidate will have:

Enrollment in or recent completion of a Master’s programme in economics, development studies, political economy, environmental sciences, or other related fields.
Residency in Sweden and proximity to Uppsala, as the internship requires on-site presence (visa sponsorship is not available).
Familiarity with development economics concepts and debates, particularly in the African context.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical packages and programming languages (e.g., STATA, SPSS, or R) being an advantage.
Strong academic writing skills and fluency in English (oral and written).
Knowledge of Swedish is considered meritorious.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.
